More resources would be good. I don't know if more time would help us or just give us even more ways to get distracted, overthink and nearly screw up.
[grr...] And even though we found the right person, it's still not the best solution. There's the whole part where Rupert's still going to be publicly executed tomorrow, too, and we don't know who he's going up against.
I'm talking about days worth of time. You know, like in a normal, modern world?
[This nine hour thing is aging her, so much.]
... We still don't know, and it could all turn out like last week too. Rupert-kun survives, and someone dies in his place. A lot of people were pretty protective of him tonight, but if something like that happened tomorrow... How do you think it will go?
Yeah. Maya said that usually when she does stuff like this they have trials and then days they can investigate and then go back to trial. Something that like would be really helpful, but that means we aren't getting it.
[lame.]
...it's gonna depend on who would die in his place. That's the thing about a competition like this. It could either be a situation people are understanding, or it could cause an uproar if it's somebody like, I don't know, Hope or Mabel or Leo or whatever. One of the younger kids.
Right, right. Though it's not like Rupert-kun would be able to stop himself from killing them. Once you get up on that stage, you're nothing more than a puppet dancing to somebody else's tune. You remember how Jang-san begged for Lila-chan to end it, don't you? And still...
And still the stage decided the more tragic outcome would be for us to lose Lila instead and make Manwol live with that. If they're both aiming to kill each other, it's going to be about who's stronger then, or who has the better luck.
Even then it kind of feels like there's a predetermined outcome and we just have to watch.
